Chamber of Commerce Events

The Hemet San Jacinto Valley Chamber of Commerce offers numerous networking opportunities for its members. Monthly events include power lunches and mixers. The Chamber is proud to sponsor major annual events that include its Fiesta, Reverse Drawing, Olympus Awards, Harvest Kick-Off, and State of the Valley Luncheon.

State of the Valley Address

The State of the Valley Address is a long-established annual event hosted by the Hemet/San Jacinto Valley Chamber of Commerce to learn what public officials have to say about the area’s economic future. Presentations include remarks from both Hemet and San Jacinto City officials as well as elected County officials and the Soboba Band of Luiseno Indians.

Fiesta

A major event for the Chamber is its annual April birthday celebration, Fiesta style. The Fiesta commemorates the joining of both the Hemet and San Jacinto Chambers. In 1999, a single Chamber was formed to better promote the businesses of both cities. The 2009 Birthday Fiesta was a celebration of our tenth anniversary. Live entertainment, food, vendors and festivities were enjoyed by all. Being a member of the Chamber of Commerce has definite benefits as we are dedicated to helping all of our members succeed. So join us! Have fun! Get connected! Increase awareness! Make an impact! We’ll see you at Fiesta 2009!

Reverse Drawing

The annual Wilfred P. Ryan Reverse Drawing, one of our most popular Chamber events, is an exciting evening of food, fun, drink, silent auction, bingo, wine bottle drawing and numerous other prizes and, of course, the opportunity to win $10,000. Held at the beautiful Soboba Springs Country Club.

The Olympus Awards

This elegant event is a prestigious salute recognizing the San Jacinto Valley’s most prominent and deserving businesses and individuals. In the same extraordinary approach as the Academy Awards, a nomination for an Olympus Awards category is an honor and tribute to the excellence of the nominee. The Olympus Awards provides the opportunity for Chamber members to recognize those who give so generously. The final award recipients are selected by a vote of the Chamber membership.

Harvest Kick-Off

Join us in October for a football themed event to be held in downtown Hemet, and bring out your family and friends. Represent your favorite football team by wearing their jerseys, t-shirts and hats and spend six hours of fun with your San Jacinto Valley neighbors. Admission and parking are free. The event runs from 10 am to 4 pm. Businesses can take advantage of this opportunity to integrate their services and show the community what goods and services they can provide and possibly open new doors for their businesses.

Attractions include a variety of foods, car and motorcycle venues, a dog show, costume fashion show, salsa lessons, live music on 3 states, local vendors, service demonstrations by the Valley’s fire and police stations, karaoke and much, much more. Whether you love animals, fashion, shopping, vehicles or just strolling the venue, there will be plenty to garner your attention.
